Westin Hotel, Ottawa, with a Remote Option Also Available<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\nThe 10th Annual Pathways to Prosperity National Conference and the Pathways to Prosperity Conference for Local Immigration Partnerships and R\u00e9seaux en immigration francophone will take place at the Westin Hotel in Ottawa on Monday November 14 to Wednesday November 16, 2022. There will also be remote access to some components of the Conference for those who cannot attend in person. In addition, all registrants will have access to the Virtual Workshop Series to take place in January - March 2023.\n\nThis is an exciting time for the Pathways to Prosperity Partnership. In 2022 we are celebrating 10 years of P2P and a return to an in-person conference, with a twist: the hybrid format. Whether you will be joining us in person or remotely, we have lots of surprises and new activities planned. This is your invitation to join us!\n\nTo celebrate where we are today and look ahead, we will be honouring the foundations of immigration and settlement in Canada and embarking on a journey of planning for the future. This is a chance to learn from the people who helped build immigration and settlement in Canada and discuss the way forward to continue our successes. It will be an opportunity to share your expertise and experiences, learn from others, catch up with friends and colleagues, and expand your networks. Join researchers, service providers, Local Immigration Partnerships, R\u00e9seaux en immigration francophone, representatives of all levels of government, and others working in the area of immigration for a three-day event.\n\nOn Monday November 14 and Tuesday November 15, the P2P National Conference will take place, with a welcome reception and fun activities planned for the evening of November 13 for those who arrive early. The conference will include plenary sessions, workshops, roundtable discussions, a poster session, and lots of opportunities to network with colleagues.\n\nOn Wednesday November 16, we will be hosting the P2P National Conference for Local Immigration Partnerships and R\u00e9seaux en immigration francophone. This is an opportunity for RIF and LIPs to share information and achievements, discuss common challenges and solutions, and develop new connections and collaborations. All interested parties are welcome to attend this event.\n\nTo be inclusive, we will be providing simultaneous interpretation for the keynote speakers and plenary sessions (both in person and virtual).\n\nThe planning committees for these events are working hard to make them engaging and valuable to all who attend. More information will be posted as it becomes available.\n\nSpace is limited so register early to avoid disappointment.\n\n

The call for proposals for workshops\u00a0and posters for the Pathways to Prosperity 2022 National Conference is now closed. The deadline to submit proposals was August 10. Thank you to everyone who submitted proposals\u00a0- we received a great\u00a0range of submissions. Acceptance of workshops and posters will be announced by August 24.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n \n

National LIP Network Summit<\/span><\/h3>\n

November 17, 2022 | Westin Hotel, Ottawa<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\nThe 2022 National LIP Network Summit will take place on November 17, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This event is an opportunity for LIP staff from across Canada to think both practically and creatively about collaboration and mutual support. During the 2021 summit, LIPs solidified a governance structure and strategic priorities for the network. The upcoming summit will move beyond strategies to concrete actions, informing an annual action plan for the National LIP Secretariat. The summit will also be an opportunity for LIPs to think creatively about what national level collaboration can look like. With the NLS now firmly established and with more LIPs engaging in regional and issue-specific working groups, we will strategize ways for LIPs to work together and maximize impact in our diverse local contexts.\n\nThis event is aimed at LIP staff specifically. Due to space limitations, we ask that only one staff member per LIP register for the National LIP Network Summit.\n\n \n
