When asked if they would attend future Pathways to Prosperity Conferences, the response from attendees was a definitive YES. It was also clear that the hybrid format was highly valued by those who could not attend in person, and will continue to attract future attendance.

Comments included:

Best P2P Conference yet. The sessions, including keynotes, workshops, roundtables, and addresses were all excellent. The poster session was great this year with lots of interest. I really enjoyed the friendliness of the conference and how you were intentionally inclusive. P2P is a leader in the sector.

Great line up and variety of speakers, from government to front-line service providers, scholars/researchers and writers. This brings a wider perspective and helps connect social realities with policy making and issues faced by immigrants. Thank you!

Its my first time of attending the conference and I will attend again and again. There were so many information I got directly from the source.

Thank you P2P for all the work you do. Everyone at my agency fully enjoyed the conference and learned so much. This is the best conference for our sector in the country.

Great organization of the conference and was extremely helpful for connecting with others in the sector and learning more about the many iterations of supporting newcomers in Canada.

I loved the platform for navigating the conference! Since I started working in the immigration field 8 years ago, I have been sharing with my colleagues the quality of discussions and learning thanks to VVP-P2P!! I hope to be able to participate next year as a panelist and share community opportunities to better serve our future arrivals. I have been working on pre-arrival services since 2015. Thank you very much!

Thank you for hosting the two days and all the work that went into it. In total honesty I was hesitant to take time away during CFP and my heavy workload but I am so glad I did. The two days left me excited and wanting more as well as with new ideas for partnerships.

Thank you P2P. We cannot afford to send all our staff in person so virtual makes us feel like we are still included.

Poster Awards

On Monday evening, a poster presentation and evening reception was held to showcase 38 in-person poster presentations.
