For example, 94% of respondents agreed that immigrant-serving agencies are essential for \u201cimmigrants\u2019 success in Canada\u201d and \u201cnecessary for a well-functioning society.\u201d Winnipeggers were also quite supportive of the Immigrant Centre. Just over a third (36%) of respondents was already aware of the Immigrant Centre (44% of immigrants and 34% of non-immigrants). After learning more about the Centre, nearly all (92%) agreed that it is a good thing for Winnipeg and most respondents (64%) wanted to support the Centre in some way.
