Nine conference participants posing in a hallway holding handwritten signs reading "Collaboration Go Team", "Concerned Resident", "Partners" and "Key Stakeholder".

On 12 March 2014, the 8th day of reflection on Francophone immigration within Francophone minority communities (FMCs) was held. Funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), the day’s scientific programme was developed by Chedly Belkhodja (Concordia University) and Christophe Traisnel (Université de Moncton), in collaboration with the Fédération des communautés francophones et acadienne (FCFA) du Canada and CIC. Four workshops and roundtables brought together academic researchers, federal government representatives, and civil society stakeholders.
